Epicure Preserves’ clear, pale orange apricot habanero jelly hosts a suspension of finely chopped and seeded orange habanero peppers, red onion, sweet red pepper and rehydrated, chopped apricots. It is great with any kind of cheese, but is a heavenly match melted on top of a round of baked brie, served with a crusty French baguette. The Scoville pungency index for habaneros is about 10 times higher than jalapenos, so this jelly is a favorite of spice heat afficionados.
